The Banquet Restaurant @ 3rd Miles

Located at 3rd Miles, Jalan Datuk Tawi Sli, Kuching.


Today, I'm invited to have a Food Testing Session with The Banquet Restaurant General Manager about the quality of their Food. Below is the dishes i tried and here is my critics ....

This is Steamed Ikan Tilapia. The Fish taste fresh and nice.

Ordered Spinach cooked with salted Egg. Unfortunately, The salted egg is just put for decorations as a side dish. Not cooked with the Spinach vegetable together. But taste nice.. Not bad !

This is called Signature Tofu. My personal opinion is nice.. No comment.

This is Shellless Prawn ball. Cooked with Mayonnaise and Cheese. Prawn is quite big but too bad don't have cheese taste. But overall taste nice eventhough there is no cheese. I believed with the Cheese taste would be taste more nicer.

3 Varieties Combination (Fried Silver Fish, Otak Otak & Jelly Fish) 

This is called Fried Silver Fish. This is the first time i had this Silver Fish and it taste really really delicious and nice. The fish is salty like Ikan Masin but if compare with Ikan Masin, this would be preferred by me.. If take this with Beer, Oh my ... Perfection !

This is Jelly Fish.. Tasted okay. Just that a bit dry.. Preferable to be a bit wet like putting sauce in it. According to the Chef, he said most of this Customers prefer to be dried one.. But of course, Different People.. Different taste.

 This is called Otak Otak. Lack of Fish smell and taste. Informed the Chef and The General Manager about it. Will improve more..

Overall, This Food Testing Session is satisfactory. The Environment is superb.. Nice, Clean and can relax and enjoy. It's a HALAL Big Restaurant.
