Han's Dim Sum

Craving for dim sum, my father brought me to this hidden jewel at 3rd Mile. At first I was sceptical as the cafe was empty. It was 10.00am when we arrived. We were immediately served by a friendly gentlemen wearing a grey shirt. The first thing I noticed was the cafe SERVE NO PORK.

So we placed our order on a few recommended items. I noticed that the cafe not only serve dim sum but they also have porridge, handmade noodles and chicken rice.

Four types of sauces to go with the dim sum.

"Xiu Loong Tong" Pau RM5.50 - its very good, a MUST have!

Chicken Siew Mai with Salted Egg RM3.50 - I felt the salted egg yolk slice were just for decoration as I didn't get much taste from the salted egg yolk but still its good.

Braised Chicken Feet with BBQ Sauce RM4.50 - Added bonus are the huge soft peanuts...mmm good. Its a bit spicy to me...but no problem for those who love chilli.

Stewed Lotus Rice with Salted Egg RM4.50 - the fragrance of the lotus leaf gets into the glutinous rice. Somehow I find the inside a bit too salty and I had to wash it down with Barley drink but still its tasty. I tasted 'hay bee' aka dry shrimp, chicken meat and some hint of mushroom.

Last dish! They named it 'Sifu' Pau RM5.50 - I guess its one of their chef's special creation. I heard the chef was previously working at Holiday Inn Hotel under Peter Mueller...Please forgive my ignorance I don't know who is Peter Mueller. Perhaps those worked at Holiday Inn Hotel would know! Back to the steam bun! Its good. Something new...who would have thought, I feel like eating Chicken Bak Chang wrapped in steam bun...yummy!

Here's the location map. If you are coming from 3rd Mile to Jalan Rock, its on the left (beside Jolibee FoodCourt or behind Siang Siang Foodcourt) marked with RED SQUARE. Opening hours: 6.30am to 2.30pm, off once a week (which day, I forgot to ask). Good clean environment and plenty of parking space. HOPE you enjoy it as much as I do!!!
